Cong, BSP to hold election rallies in Delhi

New Delhi: Is a traffic chaos in the offing in the national capital when top leaders of Congress, BJP and BSP hitting the streets this Sunday?

Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, her BSP counterpart Mayawati and Akali Dal patriarch Parkash Singh Badal will be holding election rallies here this Sunday in various parts of the city, keeping policemen on their toes.

"We are fully prepared. Adequate arrangements will be made. We hope there will be no problems as the rallies are organised in different localities," a senior police official said.

While Gandhi is addressing election meeting in Mongolpuri in west Delhi, Mayawati will address a rally in Trilokpuri in east Delhi. Badal is slated to campaign in four constituencies where his party candidates are contesting.

With just a week left for campaigning for the Delhi Assembly elections, top leaders of all parties are expected to hit the roads next week.
