New Delhi: With drought like situation prevailing in large parts of the country, the Congress on Wednesday decided that all its ministers, MPs and MLAs will donate part of their salaries to drought relief fund.
The decision was taken at a three-hour meeting of the Congress Working Committee (CWC), the party's highest policy making body, which discussed ways and means to deal with the problem, party sources said.
They would continue to make the donations till the situation improved, sources added.
