New Delhi: Senior Congress leader Janardhan Dwivedi on Tuesday indicated that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh might be projected as its PM candidate for the 2014 Lok Sabha polls. The Congress Secretary praised the Sonia-PM power sharing model and said that until a name was announced for the 2014 polls, Manmohan Singh was the leader of the government.
"The partnership between Prime Minister and Soniaji is one that is never seen before. It is possible that such a relationship becomes a model for the future," Dwivedi said.
He added, "The Congress will decide its PM candidate at the appropriate time. At the moment, Manmohan Singh is leading the government."
