New Delhi, The Congress party Friday released its first list of 117 candidates for the November 27 Madhya Pradesh assembly elections.
Leader of the Opposition in the assembly Jamuna Devi, Deputy Speaker Hazarilal Raghuvanshi, former Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee chief Subhash Yadav, Human Resource Development Minister Arjun Singh's son Ajay Singh and senior Congress leader Harvansh Singh are some of the prominent figures whose name figure on the list.
The list was announced by the party's Central Election Committee.
The 231-member legislative assembly will go to polls on November 27.
