Cong will emerge stronger post polls: Scindia

New Delhi: Congress MP Jyotiraditya Scindia, contesting from Guna in Madhya Pradesh, claims that the Congress will improve its tally in several states including Kerala, Orissa and Punjab adding the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will not be able to match his party's seat tally.

"Congress will emerge stronger after May 16. Manmohan Singh will be the next prime minister. Post polls we will talk with the parties," said Scindia.

"I have toured 14 Lok Sabha constituencies... not only my constituency," he said.

Pointing out that his father late Madhavrao Scindia was his ideal, the young Congress leader said, "I do not want to shed my father's tag. My father is my ideal."

"My election is a day when people give me blessing. My commitment for the people is for a period of five years," he added.
