New Delhi: A traffic police constable and his friend were arrested late Thursday on the charge of abducting and raping a minor girl in a moving car here.
Constable Sanjeev and his friend, a property dealer who was not identified, had abducted a girl from near her home in Swaroopnagar around 3 pm and raped her in the car.
They later dropped her on the roadside.
The victim reached her home and informed her family who rushed her to a hospital.
Her condition was described as out of danger.
"We have arrested the two men and investigations are on," Delhi Police spokesman Rajan Bhagat said.
