Convicts flee as rains lash Nagpur

Nagpur: Ten prisoners on Monday escaped from the Buldana Jail near Nagpur taking advantage of the heavy rains.

The prisoners broke open the wooden gates of the jail, located close to the district police headquarters and escaped in the wee hours, police said.

The police have launched a manhunt to trace the escaped convicts.
