Patna: A two-year-old child, Rajkumar is being accused of leading rioters in an attack on policemen in Bihar.

“They have charged seven people in the case out of which two are from our house,” says Rajkumar's father, Rajo Jha.

Rajkumar's Aunt, Kamti Devi adds, “He can’t even eat by himself. How will he throw stones at the police.”

In January this year people of two communities clashed during the Moharram procession in Katihar. The police were forced to open fire to control the mob, which had started pelting stones on the security forces.

An FIR was registered against seven people, including Rajkumar. But now the police say it could have been a clerical error.

“There has never been a case like that. But there could be an error,” says Inspector Satya Narayan Singh.

Meanwhile, Rajkumar's parents are running from pillar to post to correct what the police call an inadvertent mistake. But convincing officials is proving to be a hard task.
