THIRUVANANMALAI: Former DMK MLA of Arni, R Sivanandam, and his two sons, Lokesh and Babu, wanted in a land grab case here, surrendered before the Arni court on Friday.
Following a HC decision to grant bail to the trio, the Arni court ordered them to deposit Rs 7 lakh by signing at the police station.Thulasirama Bagavathar of Arni had lodged a complaint with the Tiruvannamalai Superintendent of Police last month that Sivanandam had purchased his 5,800sq ft land in Arni by promising to pay Rs 11 lakh.
