Court extends custody of IBN attack accused

Mumbai: A local court on Monday extended the police custody of 17 accused in attack on Vikhroli office of Marathi news channel IBN-Lokmat for two days.

The accused were produced before the Vikhroli Metropolitan Magistrate amid heavy police protection. All of them have been booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including attempt to murder, outraging the modesty of women and assault.

Besides them, police has named Sunil Raut, brother of Shiv Sena MP and senior leader Sanjay Raut, as wanted and prime accused in the case.
