New Delhi: Having no luck looking for a job in times of recession? Turn to the Internet to look for work. Several netizens are making most of the economc slump finding creative ways of earning money online.

Ajay has a yen for traveling. He also has a way with technology. He married the two to start his blogs kunzum.com and techgazing.com. They became so popular Ajay now writes professionally for other websites and magazines.

He has also authored books, that he publicises and sells through the blogs. Even the ads on his website earn him steady money. It's worked out so well, Ajay can't dream of going back to a 9 am - 5 pm job anymore.

"My hobby has become my work and I get paid to do what I love. I'm not thinking of going back to a regular job," says he.

Then there is the story of Pankaj Sharma who gave up his job in advertising last year and now designs websites from home.

Pankaj put his profile up on sites like www.limeexchange.com. They are designed for companies who want quality work but don't want a permanent, highly paid workforce. Still, Pankaj says he's earning more than he'd ever done before.

"On limeexchange, companies put out projects and people with the right profiles can bid for these projects. The best bid wins the contract. This way I can get to do work from all over the world," says he.

Nitin Rai's lens was his main window to the world. Now he's found another one - the web. Fashion to food, portraits to real estate, he's putting them all up on his site. It's a great way to grab foreign clients and assignments he says. Plus, with online transactions, his photos can sell, even after he's wrapped up an exhibition.

'I am looking into sales through my website where people who have seen my work in exhibitions can buy it from my website, using pay pal. I am now also differentiating my images into catergories based on costs and making my website search engine friendly," says he.

If you have a personal blog or website, sign in with google ads. Google pays you everytime an ad is clicked on your site. There are other jobs too that pay you to write, do data entry or even teach online. But beware of frauds. Only work for a company that's well known in the cyber world.
