New Delhi: India's dairy product major Amul has taken a dig at Indian pacer Ishant Sharma after his horror show in the last one-dayer against Australia on Saturday. In its latest advertisement, Amul came up with the hoarding which read "Ishant, Sharm hai kya? (Ishant, aren't u ashamed?)"
The 25-year-old pacer, who has already played 51 Tests for India, gave away 30 runs in the 48th over of an ODI in Mohali, which denied India a win and a chance to take 2-1 lead in the seven-match ODI series against Australia. The visitors needed 44 runs off the last 18 balls when Dhoni threw the ball to Ishant, and he gave away four sixes, one four and a couple in the game-changing over.
Ishant had given away over 7.5 runs in the previous two ODIs as well and has been struggling to find consistency for quite a long time. But despite his poor performance, he has been selected for the remaining four one-dayers.
