Dubai: Fast bowler James Anderson is counting on England's batsmen to show their quality in the third Test against Pakistan after below-par performances in two defeats.
Pakistan's spinners have made the England batters struggle on turning wickets in Dubai and Abu Dhabi with two convincing victories — by 10 wickets and by 72 runs.
Anderson says the mood in England camp is "very good" despite two heavy defeats and that "we have every faith in our batsmen that they would come out stronger in the next Test."
Anderson and Stuart Broad have combined for 13 wickets in the first two Test matches, compared to the 29 England scalps that Pakistan spin duo Saeed Ajmal and Abdur Rehman has collected.
The third Test begins from Friday.
