Bangladesh skipper Mushfiqur Rahim may feel that sans players like MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, it's almost India A touring Bangladesh; but the way the visitors chased a challenging 272 and eventually won the rain-curtailed first ODI via D/L method, Rahim was made to eat his words.

Bangladesh haven't won a single ODI this year and the trend continued at Mirpur on Sunday, where India beat the hosts by 7 wickets after rain threatened to undo their hard work but relented in time to allow them to cruise to the revised target of 150 in 26 overs.

    Commentary (Bangladesh 1st Innings)

That's it from this enthralling game of ODI cricket. India have the series to themselves and can experiment further in the final game. The third ODI is on Thursday, 19th June at 1230 IST. Do join us for the coverage. Till then, cheers and goodnight!

Stuart Binny is quite obviously named the Man of the Match, spare a thought for Taskin Ahmed. Binny starts by saying that it's a special occasion for him, just playing his third ODI, so a happy moment for the Karnataka all-rounder. Mentions that players wait for an opportunity and when they are on top they try to take it as far as they can, He felt that today was his day and made the most of it. When the team was under the pump at the innings break, the Indian players knew they had to bowl well. The ball was seaming a bit but they needed to hit the wicket as well. The plan was simple, had to bowl stump to stump says Binny in the end.

Some of the Bangladeshi batsmen played very loose strokes and gave their wickets away when they should have stayed patient, left more balls and waited for the bad ones. This is the lowest score India have defended in ODIs, their previous best being 125 against Pakistan in 1985, in Sharjah. This is a historic moment for a side that is not even close to its best strength. Binny's 6 wickets for just four runs is now India's best figures by a bowler in ODIs.

Bangladesh have no clue what they need to do to win a game. India were bowled out for just 105 by a spirited bowling performance by the hosts. However, the Indian bowlers had their share of joy on this assisting track. They picked up two quick wickets before the break and when they returned Binny turned the game on its head by picking up six wickets, out-running Taskin's five-fer in the first innings.
