Commentary (India 1st Innings)

That's it from this series which had three teams playing - Bangladesh, India and rain. India emerged victorious even though Rahim felt disappointed before the series that India were sending a second string side. India will prepare for their tour of England in a few days' time. Bangladesh need to iron out some of the issues, especially those with their batting. You could switch on to the other game happening at the moment between West Indies and New Zealand, the 2nd Test. Till next time, cheers and goodbye.

The Player of the Series award goes to Stuart Binny. He says that it has been a good series for him and is glad that Raina gave him the opportunity in such conditions. He is satisfied that it is a young side and they have proven the point. Today he was trying to get to 120 or 140.

Pujara held one end up with some gritty batting but partners found their way to lose their wickets someway or the other. Pujara lost his wicket in the end and Binny played a handy knock to prove his quality as a batsman. However, it was tough living for the batsmen. Would have been fun to watch Bangladesh bat on this track though! So, INDIA TAKE THE SERIES 2-0.

The rain has prevailed today. THE MATCH HAS BEEN CALLED OFF! It was promising to be another low-scoring thriller but it wasn't to be in the end. The Bangladeshi bowlers showed their consistency by triggering another Indian batting failure. India took the brave decision of batting first on this tricky surface and their top order was blown away inside 20 runs.

1956 Local time - The umpires are on the field. The covers are off the field. We may be starting soon.

1840 local time - For the third time so far today, the rain has come pouring down. The bad news is that there isn't any breeze around the ground to take the clouds away. It doesn't seem like India will come back out to bat if this stoppage exceeds 30 minutes. If that happens, there could be a revised target, a few runs could be added. We'll keep you posted!
