Commentary (Bangladesh 2nd Innings)

That brings an end to an engrossing Test series. Now we move on to some T20 action starting from February 12. Do join us for that. Until then, Good Bye!

Kumar Sangakkara, who has scored a bucketful of runs in the series, is declared Man of the Match as well as the Man of the Series.

The Lankan bowlers tried hard but could not get enough assistance from the pitch. They had to take early wickets in the final session to create some tension in the Bangladeshi dressing room which did not happen, and in the end Sri Lanka have to settle for the draw. They take the series 1-0 and should be reasonably happy with their efforts.

Bangladesh manage to salvage a draw from a difficult position thanks to the resolve shown by their batsmen, especially Mominul Haque who looked determined right from the start of his innings and deservedly completed his ton.

That's it. The players are shaking hands. With no chance of a result, both teams decide to end the match early.
