Sri Lanka once again won the toss and opted to field first in the third ODI of the five-match series against Pakistan in Sharjah on Sunday.
The visitors kept the same eleven that beat the hosts by two wickets in the second match.
Pakistan made just one change to their side, bringing in Umar Gul in place of Sohail Tanvir. Gul made a comeback to the side after a gap of ten months.
