Commentary (South Africa 1st Innings)

Ahmed Shehzad is named the MAN OF THE MATCH for his fantastic hundred at the top of the batting order. The final match, which is now a dead rubber, will be played on 30 November. Do join us for that, till then, farewell!

The match seemed to be South Africa's in an astonishing manner by that man, AB de Villiers. He's a man of few words, more talent and an outrageous artillery of shot selection. At a time when the required rate was over 9, AB de Villiers brought out his destructive side and spanked everyone to all parts of the ground. But since him and Amla departed, the match started sliding down and credit does go to Pakistan's death bowling.

What a magnificent match and eventually, South Africa ensured that the notion of the C word comes back to haunt them. It all came down to the 12 last deliveries from Saeed Ajmal and Junaid Khan, with the latter bowling an exceptional last over.

44.6 J Khan to D Miller, Four leg byes! PAKISTAN WIN BY 1 RUN! What a remarkable comeback and the expression on the Pakistani players says everything. A full ball down the leg side, sneaks through Miller's attempted heave and finds the fence but that does not matter. Misbah falls to the ground in relief, joy and what not. 261/6

Now then. Miller's reputed for being a finisher of some sorts. South Africa need a six here off the last ball.

44.5 J Khan to R McLaren, Excellent from Junaid. Follows the batsman and hurls down a leg-sided yorker, McLaren is smacked on the pads and they cross over. 257/6

44.4 J Khan to D Miller, Full ball, hit away through mid off for one. 256/6

44.3 J Khan to D Miller, Full length and quick on the pads, Miller goes to flick but misses. It lobs up back to the bowler who appeals big time but nothing from the umpire. 255/6

Ryan McLaren in next. South Africa need a calm head...

44.2 J Khan to JP Duminy, OUT! Magnificent catch! Short and quick on middle, Duminy flattens the ball with a pull over mid-wicket. It's fast, quick, flat and Anwar Ali at the fence, does really well to get low and catch it well. 255/6
