Commentary (Bangladesh 1st Innings)

Right then. Dwayne Bravo comes forward with his team and the trophy is held aloft. When this series started, there was a lot of promise with Bangladesh expected to offer a stiff fight to the hosts. However, the Asian minnows have simply been blown away and it will take a lot of mental effort, let alone physical to produce a better result in the one-off T20I which will be played on Wednesday, 27th August, 2014 at 2000 local (0000 GMT) (0530 IST) (next day). Do join us then. Till that time, ADIOS! TAKE CARE!

DENESH RAMDIN HAS ALSO BEEN CHOSEN AS THE AWARDEE FOR THE MAN OF THE SERIES.

DWAYNE BRAVO is happy with the series result and congratulates the entire team and the support staff. Stresses on the fact that 3-0 is better than 2-1. Congratulates Ramdin and little brother Bravo for their innings today. Adds that consistency was talked about in team meetings and they can never afford to relax, especially with Curtly Ambrose in the staff. Welcome Darren Sammy to take over the T20I line-up and is all praises about his attitude.

MUSHFIQUR RAHIM looks dejected and says that Bangladesh could not capitalize on West Indies' mistakes. Rues that they could not get a good start while batting either. Feels a lot of work needs to be done in the T20I and hopes that they come good. Praises Al-Amin, Tamim and Anamul and hopes they become more consistent.

DENESH RAMDIN HAS BEEN NAMED THE MAN OF THE MATCH. Says that he put up his hand today, given that Dwayne Bravo wanted someone from the top six to fire. On the ground, he says that it is very easy to cover up after a slow start. Praises the spinners for bowling well early on. On his form, he credits a lot of hard work.

Time for awards - Mushfiqur Rahim gets the smart player of the match award.

Nothing to gain for Bangladesh either with the bat or ball. West Indies were a bit erratic tonight, probably because they had the cushion of 338 runs. A comfortable series whitewash by them.

Yawn... the match ends at last. There was no expectation once West Indies posted 338 but when Tamim and Rahim were playing, things were a bit exciting. However, once Tamim fell, Rahim went into his shell completely and the match got shut out, just waiting for an excuse to be ended.
