Commentary (New Zealand 1st Innings)

Brendon McCullum has been named the Man of the Match. That's all from this game. The next game, England vs South Africa is up next.

Three losses in three games for Netherlands but that hardly paints the true picture. Since their extra-ordinary game against Ireland, they were touted to do big but against Sri Lanka, they collapsed for 39. Then they had their real chances of a shock win against South Africa but choked in the end. Today too, they had their chances but McCullum's superb 50 ensured that the Dutch were thrown off their game.

A comprehensive victory in the end for New Zealand. They had a bit of a problem when 56 was required off 36 balls after Ross Taylor's dismissal but McCullum's constant boundary-finding tendency ensured that the Black Caps sailed through. They would now be facing Sri Lanka for a virtual quarter-final in their next game.
