    Commentary (South Africa 2nd Innings)

That's all we have for you from this game as South Africa take the series. Zimbabwe did put up a fight but it was always going to be hard to compete against the number one Test side in the world. The cricket does not stop here and we look forward to your company in the future matches. Until then, it's goodbye and take care! Cheers!

MAN OF THE MATCH - DANE PIEDT! A well earned one as well! He starts off saying that he knew a day before that he is going to play in the Test. Says that he prepared a lot in Sri Lanka. Admits that he was patient and things went his way. Says you learn a lot when you play with so many greats in the game. Calls it a proud feeling to represent his country.

Zimbabwe, in their second innings folded for a score of 181 as none of their batsmen did well apart from their opener Sibanda. The lower order tried to put up a fight but the spin of Piedt and pace of Steyn was too much to handle for them, setting a target of just 41 runs. Dane Piedt, ended the match with figures of 8/152, the best for a spinner on debut for South Africa. Chasing such a small score, South Africa were never going to be troubled and their openers did the needful by giving them a good start. Elgar got out with just 2 runs left and du Plessis had to come out to complete a 9-wicket victory for the visitors. Though they had to fight hard, they will be happy with the win.

That is a well earned win for South Africa. They will hope to replicate such performances in the limited overs contest after wining this one-off Test! Zimbabwe won the toss and put up an impressive fight getting to a good total, courtesy their skipper, Taylor leading from the front with 93. Dane Piedt making his debut, picked up 4/90 while Steyn went on to take 5/46 to tilt the game towards the visitors. The Saffas in their reply went for substance than for style and got a healthy lead of 141 as Elgar, du Plessis and de Kock scored fifties to get them into a very good position. John Nyumbu on his Test debut took 5/157.
