Adelaide: Australia have overlooked injured vice-captain Shane Watson in an unchanged line-up for the second Test against South Africa starting on Thursday.
Watson missed the drawn series opener in Brisbane with a calf injury and attempted to prove his fitness at training in Adelaide this week. But captain Michael Clarke said on Wednesday that lingering doubts remained about the allrounder's injury.
Clarke said Watson had "improved a lot over the last few days ... but is probably a few days short of being 100 per cent."
