Bangladesh Innings:

50th over: India stunned! Lose by five wickets. Mahmudullah smacks Dinda for a four through the covers to keep Bangladesh alive in the Asia Cup!

India conceded 36 runs in their last 2.2 overs, which proved fatal in the end. Pathan gave away 17 in the 48th and Praveen 14 in the 49th to let Bangladesh complete a heist. Incredible win!

49th over: A four and a six by the Bangladeshi skipper, this time punishing Praveen. This should seal the issue in favour of the hosts. Hossain fell in the same over but his 54 should not go in vain now. Just two needed off the last over. Bangladesh 288 for 5.

Nasir Hossain c Raina b Kumar 54 (58)

48th over: Two sixes! Mushfiqur's two hits off Irfan Pathan have put Bangladesh right on top. 17 runs in the over. In 12 balls now, the hosts need 16 with four wickets in hand.

47th over: Perfect over by Praveen. Just four runs given. Nasir Hossain meanwhile completes his half-century to take the score to 257 for 4. 33 needed in 18 balls. Looking tough now for Bangladesh but you never know.

46th over: 37 needed in 24 balls. The next two overs could be decisive. India need few tight deliveries while a 3-4 boundaries will swing it in Bangladesh's favour.

45th over: Mushfiqur and Jahuru haven't let the momentum slip after Shakib's wicket. 244 for 5, need 46 in 30 balls now.

42nd over: A blitzkrieg by Shakib Al Hasan! The left-hander has given the required momentum to the Bangladesh innings. Though he was stumped off Aswhin on 49, his innings gave Bangladesh a chance to chase down the Indian target.

Shakib Al Hasan st Dhoni b Ashwin 49 (31)

40th over: Scintillating display by Bangladesh! The home side has gone hammer and tongs against the Indian bowlers in the batting powerplay, taking 46 runs in five overs. Shakib Al Hasan is leading the attack, along with Nasir Hossain. The fifty partnership between the two comes in 35 balls. Bangladesh 208/3.

37th over: Batting powerplay taken! Bangladesh up the ante, taking 18 runs from the 2nd over of the five-over powerplay. Dinda was at the receiving end, getting punished for bowling length deliveries, which are perfect fodder for someone like Shakib Al Hasan, who hit the bowler for a four and a six.

34th over: Tamim Iqbal departed! After playing a sedate knock of 70 off 99 balls, the left-handed batsman gave a straight forward catch to the backward point. Ravindra Jadeja took a low diving catch. Praveen Kumar picked up his second wicket.

Nasir Hossain, who replaced Jahurul Islam, is clobbering the Indian bowlers.

30th over: Second wicket for India! Ravindra Jadeja provides the much-needed breakthrough, getting Jahurul Islam caught at mid-wicket by Rohit Sharma. With that, the 113-run partnership between Islam and Tamim also ended. Ban 128/2.

Jahurul Islam c Sharma b Jadeja 53 (68)

28th over: Maiden fifty for Jahurul! The right hander kisses the pitch after getting to the landmark in 64 balls. His unbeaten century stand with Tamim Iqbal has also kept Bangladesh in the hunt of chasing the big Indian total.

26th over: 100 up for Bangladesh! Tamim Iqbal and Jahurul Islam have done their job, crossing the first hurdle. Iqbal hits his second consecutive half-century, his 21st in ODIs, in 77 balls. Ban 111/1.

22nd over: Raina is keeping a tight line and length, bowling a maiden 21st over. But it's the wicket column which is empty. Tamim Iqbal is once again proving to be a nemesis for India. Though he is a little slow in this innings, he is well capable of making it up with big hits later in the innings.

20th over: Ashwin comes into bowl! The offspinner bowls his first over of the innings, giving away just two runs. Bangladesh score 19 runs in the bowling powerplay. Ban 84/1.

17th over: India take the bowling powerplay in the 16th over! India's emphasis will be on breaking the good-looking partnership between Tamim Iqbal and Jahurul Islam. Dhoni throws the ball to Dinda who bowls the first over of the powerplay.

15th over: Jahurul takes the attack to the opposition! After playing aerial strokes off seamers, the right handed batsman takes the measure of the part-timer Rohit Sharma, hitting him for a maximum over the long-on fence. Ban 65/1.

10th over: Jahurul Islam has walked in in place of Nazimuddin and makes his intentions clear by sending Praveen Kumar for a boundary between mid-wicket and mid-on and hitting Dinda for a four over mid-on.

8th over: Bangladesh kept in check! India's new ball bowlers are not allowing the Bangladesh batsmen to get off the blocks. Ashok Dinda, who has replaced injured Vinay Kumar, has been brought into the attack by Dhoni. And he starts with a maiden over. Bangladesh 24/1.

5th over: India get their first wicket! Nazimuddin, trying to break the shackles, skies a Praveen Kumar delivery which goes straight into the hands of Rohit Sharma.

Nazimuddin c Sharma b Kumar 5 (15)

2nd over: Tamim Iqbal and Nazimuddin started the innings for Bangladesh, while Praveen Kumar and Irfan Pathan began the proceedings for India. Tamim opened his boundary account with a fierce drive past the backward point off Pathan.

India innings:

50th over: After losing the wicket of Rohit Sharma in the previous over, the Indians score 17 runs off this one, as Dhoni smacks Shahadat for a couple of boundaries. Bangladesh will need 290 runs after the break to stay alive in the competition.

47th over: Mortaza strikes to remove Raina and Tendulkar in the over. The total of 300 which seemed to be a formality earlier, suddenly seems to be a hard one to get.

S Raina c Tamim Iqbal b Mortaza 51

S Tendulkar c Rahim b Mortaza 114

44th over: Tendulkar brings up his first ODI century against Bangladesh, and 100th international ton. A gentle nudge off Shakib Al Hasan gives Sachin Tendulkar the magical milestone. The ton comes off 138 balls, and includes a six and 12 fours.

40th over: The countdown has begun! Bangladesh take their bowling powerplay and Sachin hits Shakib's first delivery for a boundary.

36th over: Virat Kohli drags one on off left-arm spinner Abdur Razzaq, to be dismissed for 66. The second-wicket partnership ends after adding 148 runs.

Virat Kohli b Abdur Razzak 66

35th over: Fifteen overs to go! Sachin on 87, 13 away from the magical milestone.

29th over: Virat Kohli brings up yet another fifty in one-day internationals, his 21st and who is to say that it won't be converted into a century.

25th over: The hundred-run partnership between Kohli and and Tendulkar comes up. It's the halfway stage of the innings and India are 125/1.

19th over: Sachin Tendulkar hits a lofted cover drive over the mid-off fielder to bring up his 96th ODI fifty. Great going!

15th over: Kohli and Tendulkar have got the measure of the Bangladeshi attack. Will we see the 100th hundred after all?

10th over: End of the mandatory powerplay overs. Tendulkar looking in fine touch as India progress to 49/1.

6th over: Shafiul Islam provides Bangladesh with their first breakthrough. Gambhir goes for a forceful shot outside his off stump, the ball takes the inside edge and crashed into his middle stump.

Gautam Gambhir b Shafiul Islam 11

2nd over: A barrage of deliveries from Shafiul Islam outside Sachin Tendulkar's off stump, one of which is gloriously driven through the covers by the 'little master'.

Mirpur: Seeking to pull off a famous upset over defending champions India to stay alive in the tournament, Bangladesh captain Mushfiqur Rahim opted to field on winning the toss in game four of the Asia Cup.

Bangladesh went in with an unchanged side as the one that lost to Pakistan in the series opener on Sunday. India made one change: Vinay Kumar made way for the Bengal medium-pacer Ashok Dinda, playing his first international match since June 2010.

MS Dhoni, India’s captain, had no issues in batting first. A win here will guarantee India a spot in the Asia Cup final.
