Buoyed by their last-over win over arch-foes India, a rejuvenated Pakistan will look to seal a berth in the title clash as they lock horns with beleaguered hosts Bangladesh in their last round-robin Asia Cup match.

Ahmed Shehzad (103) and Fawad Alam (74) also contributed in Pakistan's three-wicket win over Bangladesh chasing a big target of 327.

The top two teams qualify for the summit clash and Pakistan, having collected nine points from three appearances, will go into the match as favourites. The momentum swung their way after 'boom boom' Shahid Afridi's enterprise laid India low.

For the record, Pakistan had lost to Sri Lanka in the tournament opener, before getting their campaign back on track with successive wins over Afghanistan and the big one against India.

Man of the Match Shahid Afridi says that he tried his level best to perform well. Misbah had a lot of faith in him and it was the kind of situation where he had the license to go for his kind of innings. Credits the Bangladesh team for their performance. Mentions that they need to improve on their bowling. Adds that at this stage he doesn't need coaching on batting but confidence and Moin Khan has been providing him with plenty. Mentions that he just went for his shots and they came off well!

Misbah-ul-Haq says that Afridi is really playing well and cashing in on his form. He proved it again today that he is marvelous. Adds that it's really encouraging that they are chasing down big targets. Mentions that they have been playing on this ground for a long time and the runs could be scored at the death. 260 was also in their minds and hence they made changes to the batting order according to the situations.

Mushfiqur Rahim says that for the last couple of games they haven't played to their potential. Their batsmen batted well but then Afridi played a brilliant innings. Adds that Shakib was their best spinner but he too went for 3 sixes in an over hence it's very little that they could have done. mentions that he dropped Afridi and there were some silly mistakes which cost them. Adds that they disappointed the fans and with one game to go they would look to cheer up the fans.

Fawad Alam played the anchor's role from then on as Afridi went berserk to bring the equation in Pakistan's favour and then Alam and Akmal held their nerves to power Pakistan to a victory in the final over.

What a chase by Pakistan! This is their highest run chase ever in the history of ODIs! It's that man again, Shahid Boom Boom Afridi, who was the catalyst behind the win. He came in at 225/5 in the 42nd over and just turned the match around with a whirlwind 59 off 25 balls. chasing a huge target, the openers provided them a good start but then lost their way in the middle losing three wickets quickly. Shehzad, however, held fort and reached his century as he added 105 runs with Fawad Alam to keep Pakistan on track. Shehzad departed in the Batting Powerplay and then Rehman too didn't last long.
