The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has objected to the South Africa tour schedule that was announced by Cricket South Africa (CSA) on Monday, saying that they were not kept in the loop before announcing the dates.
The tour is scheduled to begin on November 18 and conclude with the third Test match at the Wanderers Stadium from January 15 to 19. The BCCI is of the view that the announcement is a unilateral call by the South African board.
The BCCI is likely to take up the issue with CSA at the earliest. "I've not gone through the entire itinerary but they are not right. I will consult with the president before talking to CSA," BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel was quoted by a news daily.
India will play two Twenty20 internationals and seven ODIs that will be followed by a three-Test series on the two-month long tour.
