The Pakistan team will arrive in India on December 22 for two T20s and three ODIs.
New Delhi: The BCCI on Thursday released the itinerary of Pakistan's tour to India. Pakistan will arrive in India on December 22 and will play two T20s and three ODIs. The first T20 will take place in Bengaluru on December 25 while Ahmedabad will host the 2nd T20 on December 27.
The first ODI will be played in Chennai on December 30, the second January 3, 2013 in Kolkata and New Delhi will host the final match of the series on January 6. Pakistan team will leave a day later.
On Tuesday, BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla had met with India's Home Secretary in New Delhi to discuss the tour. Apart from the security issues, the Home Ministry also gave visa clearance to Pakistani spectators. Several top Pakistani dignitaries are expected to visit India to watch the cricket matches.
In July, the BCCI had decided to resume cricketing ties with Pakistan by inviting the neighbouring country for a short series in December 2012-January 2013, to be sandwiched between the Test and ODI legs of the England team's tour of India.
