Mumbai: The national selection committee will meet at the BCCI headquarters here on Sunday to pick the India squad for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. Following the naming of the squad, the Indian team will train at the National Cricket Academy in Bengalore from February 15 to 18.
In a press release on Thursday, the BCCI also announced that a shortlisted number of fast bowlers which were selected from trials conducted around the country in 2012 will bowl at the Indian batsmen during the preparatory camp in Bangalore.
Australia begin their tour with a two-day practice match against a Board President's XI on February 12 followed by a three-day fixture against India A at the same venue starting February 16.
