Islamabad: A bookie was shot dead in Lahore after India defeated Pakistan in an Asia Cup match, a media report said on Monday.
Gunmen shot dead 55-year-old Shaukat, alias Lambha on Sunday, the Dawn reported.
His brothers' families alerted the police after hearing gunshots.
A police official said that they found a book containing names, telephone numbers and cash at the place.
At least six empty shells were also found.
India chased down a stiff target to beat Pakistan by six wickets in the Asia Cup match in Bangladesh.
