Johannesburg: The Victorian Bushrangers beat Mumbai Indians who were without the services of their captain Sachin Tendulkar by seven wickets in a CLT20 warm up match at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on Tuesday.
Mumbai made 170/5 in their 20 overs which was chased down with ease by the Victorian Bushrangers, who won the match by seven wickets.
Mumbai managed to get off to a good start with Saurabh Tiwary and Shikhar Dhawan putting on 42 for the first wicket.

The Victorian bowlers had no answers to Ambati Rayudu and Tiwary, the two put on 80 runs for the second wicket.
Tiwary retired for 56 to allow the other players some batting practice. Mumbai lost their way after the fall of Rayudu for a well made 50.
Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard were disappointing and the Mumbai Indians ended with a total of 170 in their 20 overs.
Crucial patnerships were the key for the Bushrangers who did not face much of a challenge from the Mumbai bowlers.
Skipper David Hussey, Brad Hodge and Andrew McDonald chipped in with useful contributions as the Victorian Bushrangers cruised to an easy win.
Brief Scores – Victorian Bushrangers 172 for 3 (David Hussey 42, Aaron Finch 38) beat Mumbai Indians 170 for 5 (Saurabh Tiwary 56 retired not out, Shane Harwood 2-25) by 7 wickets.
