Kolakata Knight Riders won the toss and decided to bat first in their Champions League T20 match against Somerset at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium here on Sunday.
KKR got a big boost ahead of the game as their regular skipper Gautam Gambhir was declared fit to take part in Sunday's match. Gambhir's was the biggest change in the KKR side which was led by Jacques Kallis in the qualifiers.
Gambhir suffered a mild concussion in India's recently concluded tour of England.
The two teams met in the final qualifier a few days back, and though, Somerset win the contest, KKR achieved the target required to enter the main event of the CLT20.
Somerset made one change to their side. Ireland's George Dockrell was included in place of Max Waller.
