Sydney: Teenage fast bowler Pat Cummins remains hopeful of returning to international cricket on Australia's limited-overs tour to England in June.
A heel injury has kept the 18-year-old Cummins out of international cricket since his Test debut against South Africa in Johannesburg five months ago, when he took 6 for 79 to bowl Australia to a stunning two-wicket win.
He recently played three games for the Australia under-19 team in a tournament in Queensland State and he remains hopeful of being fit for the tour to England which starts with a warmup match against Leicester on June 21.
Cummins says he's "pretty close to being back to 100 per cent."
