Deccan Chargers could find its new owners on Thursday in Chennai. The IPL franchise that has been facing a serious financial crisis decided to go on sale last week.
The bids for the team will be opened Thursday. The base price of the team is expected to be around Rs 750 crore and many big companies are in the fray.
Electronic giants Videocon are one of the keen buyers. Meanwhile, the bid amount will be deposited with one of the team's lenders, ICICI Bank. Also, the Bombay High Court has ordered that the amount can't be used without its permission. An overseer appointed by the court will also be at the auction.

The bids for the team will be opened in Chennai on Thursday with the base price expected to be around Rs 750 crore.
