Kolkata: Indian batsman Virat Kohli who suffered a foot injury in the first match in Chennai is available for selection for the crucial second One -Day International against Pakistan at the Eden Gardens here on Thursday.
"Virat is available for selection for the match," Indian skipper M.S. Dhoni said on Wednesday after the team's net practice here.
Kohli suffered the injury while bowling the 41st over of Pakistan's run chase. His backfoot slipped in the delivery stride and he landed on his knees. He limped off the field and Suresh Raina finished off the last ball of the over.
