Goa, Himachal Pradesh take three points

Kerala did well to hold onto a draw against Goa at Malappuram after following-on. Goa dismissed Kerala for 297 after piling up 512 for 8 (dec) in their first innings. Kerala were 120 for 4 at the end of day four in their second innings.

In Ranchi, Himachal Pradesh (HP) rattled up three points against Jharkhand on the basis of first innings lead. HP had amassed 442 for 7 (dec) in their first innings after bowling Jharkhand out for 236. Akash Verma and Manish Vardhan compiled a fine opening partnership for the hosts on the last day to deny an outright victory to HP.

Kerala and Jharkhand pitched in doughty performances to deny outright victories to Goa and Himachal Pradesh respectively.
