New Delhi: Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) chairman Mohd Aslam Goni has been named manager of the Indian team for the one-off T20 against South Africa in Johannesburg on Friday, according to reports.
“Yes, he is manager for one T20 match being played against South Africa,” BCCI Media Relations and Corporate Affairs manager Devendra Prabhudesai told greaterkashmir.com.
The match is being played to celebrate the 150 years of Indian settlement in South Africa.
There have been corruption allegations against Goni. He has been accused of embezzlement of JKCA funds.
