Dubai: The ICC on Thursday extended the deadline for the submission of the 15-player final squad for the World Twenty20 Championship in Sri Lanka by six days after receiving requests from various member nations.
The international governing body in a statement confirmed that it has extended the deadline by six days for the men's teams to submit its squads.
"All participating men's teams must have its 15-player squads into the ICC no later than Friday 24 August 2012," ICC stated in a release.

The ICC extended the deadline for the submission of the 15-player final squad for the World T20 by six days.
"The date for the women's teams to submit its 15-player squads for the ICC Women's World Twenty20 Sri Lanka 2012 remains unchanged and must still be submitted to the ICC by Sunday 26 August 2012," it added.
