Bangalore: Hosts India will lock horns with undefeated arch-rivals Pakistan in the summit-clash of the blind cricket Twenty20 World Cup final after comprehensively beating their respective semi-final rivals here on Wednesday.
Pakistan registered their nine straight win in the tournament when they spanked England by nine wickets in the semi-finals. England battled hard but could only make 181 for nine as Matt Dean top scored with 61. Mohammad Akram blasted 103 not out in 43 balls to help Pakistan reach their target in 13 overs.
In the other semi-final, India thrashed Sri Lanka by 119 runs in a high-scoring match. The final will provide India an opportunity to avenge their eight-wicket loss to Pakistan in the group stage of the tournament.
