Henriques ruled out of first Windies ODI

Sydney: Allrounder Moises Henriques has been ruled out of Australia's first one-day cricket international against the West Indies because of a finger injury.

Henriques underwent a minor surgical procedure on Saturday to alleviate swelling caused by infection in the finger. He will be sidelined for at least a week, definitely ruling him out of the first match at Perth on Feb. 1and leaving him in doubt for the second two days later.

Henriques suffered the injury in an accident during practice for the fourth one-day international against Sri Lanka in Brisbane. He then aggravated the injury playing for New South Wales state against Western Australia on Friday.
