    IPL Auction 2014: Chennai buy 15 players over two days

    Chennai Super Kings, who have already retained five players, brought 15 players in IPL Auction.

    A total of 154 players sold, including 50 overseas players, as the two-day IPL auction ended in Bangalore on Thursday, with Yuvraj Singh ending up as the top-earner, bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for a whopping Rs. 14 crore.

    Chennai Super Kings, who have already retained five players, brought eight players on Wednesday and seven on Thursday. Ashish Nehra was picked up by CSK for a base price of 2 crores. Chennai apart from Nehra also have picked up Faf Du Plessis, Dwayne Smith, Brendon McCullum and Mohit Sharma in their ranks on Wednesday.

    The Super Kings, who are the most successful team in the IPL went for more of squad players on the second day as they picked up likes of Baba Aparajith, Mithun Manhas, Ishwar Pandey, Pawan Negi, Vijay Shankar, Ronit More and John Hastings.
