Going into the second day of the 2014 Players' Auction, Royals Challengers Bangalore didn't have much left in the bank and ended up spending whatever they had.

The Vijay Mallya-owned franchise didn't go for any big name on the final day of the auction, when the maximum they paid for a player being Rs. 40 lakh for Harshal Patel.

In all they bought nine players before the close of auction, which took their squad strength to 21.
