The Enforcement Directorate had earlier asked the Ministry of External Affairs to revoke Modi\'s passport.
New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate on Friday issued a lookout circular at all airports in India against former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi, who is said to be in United Kingdom.
Earlier on Thursday, the ED had asked the Ministry of External Affairs to revoke his passport - a move clearly aimed at having him deported from the UK.
The ED has also asked the Mumbai passport office to cease his passport after they claimed that Modi was not cooperating in their investigation.
Modi's lawyers, however, claimed that he was ready to cooperate and that he had already responded to the ED's showcause notice, but was not returning to India because of security concerns.
