Belfast: Heavy rain ruined Australia's warm-up match against Ireland on Saturday, when the one-day international was abandoned with the hosts struggling on 36 for 3 off 10.4 overs.
After a delayed start, Ireland opener Paul Stirling was caught by Australia captain Michael Clarke off fast bowler Pat Cummins at the Civil Service Cricket Club, while Brett Lee bowled William Porterfield and Ed Joyce for ducks in his 2 for 10 off three overs.
Australia play England in a series of five one-day matches, starting June 29 at Lord's.
