It rarely happens that a player gets the Man-of-the-Match award for his fielding. For an Indian player, it's even rarer. But Ravindra Jadeja effected two run-outs to change the course of the match in Melbourne.
Aaron Finch and captain George Bailey were the victims of his accurate arm.
David Hussey played Virat Kohli to backward point for a single but Jadeja, at point, was quicker in his anticipation as he picked the ball and threw it to Dhoni in a flash and the Indian captain dislodged the bails.
Finch was playing well at that time on 36 and his wicket changed the complexion of the match.
The story very much repeated itself in Bailey's case. Hussey played Rahul Sharma towards backward point but Bailey was off his blocks at the non-striker's end before Hussey could say no. Though Bailey tried to run back, Jadeja's throw reached Sharma quicker than the Aussie skipper, bringing about another run-out.
