Deccan Chargers innings:

19th over: 128 for 5. Shaun Tait is back into the attack and Ashish Reddy picks two off the first ball and then make room for himself to smash him for four through the extra cover boundary and finishes it with another boundary to the long-off to end Rajasthan hopes of qualifying for the playoffs.

18th over: 118 for 5. Stuart Binny, comes into the attack and Parthiv Patel guides him for four through the vacant slip region to take the pressure off. But Duminy plays a nothing shot of the final ball to throw his wicket away. They need nine from twelve balls now.

IPL 5, Match 68: as it happened

Deccan Chargers made hard work of a modest total but eventually got their with eight balls to spare.

17th over: 110 for 4. Johan Botha is back into the attack and Deccan pick up six from the over. They need 17 off 18 balls from here. Surely, they won't be losing from here.

16th over: 104 for 4. Trivedi continues and picks up Lynn. This is going to be interesting end to the match. Another batsmen perishes trying to go for the maximum.

15th over: 99 for 3. Chandila continues and gives five from his last over. He finishes with the figures of 1 for 20 in his four. Deccan need 28 to win from five overs.

14th over: 94 for 3. Shaun Tait comes back into the attack and gives six from the over that includes a boundary through third-man boundary for Chris Lynn, who also gets off the mark in this match and the IPL.

13th over: 88 for 3. Ajit Chandila is back into the attack and picks up Cameron White. Easy caught and bowled for the offspinner.

12th over: 85 for 2. Trivedi continues and Reddy after picking up a boundary off the third ball, mistimes a shot and gives away an easy catch to Owais Shah. But is it too little too late for RR?

11th over: 76 for 1. Botha continues and Rajasthan batsmen pick up seven from the over. They are surely favourite to win the match from here and knock Rajasthan out of the playoffs content_cnion.

10th over: 69 for 1. JP Duminy joins Reddy in the middle and Trivedi continues for Rajasthan. Just four from the over. RR bowlers have pull things back but they need wickets.

9th over: 65 for 1. Johan Botha is back into the attack and this time he finally gets rid off Dhawan. He tries to go for the maximum but only manages to find the fielder in the deep.

8th over: 62 for 0. Siddharth Trivedi, comes into the attack and another good over RR point of view. Just two from it.

7th over: 60 for 0. Ajit Chandila is back into the attack and bowls a tight over as he gives just two of it. Deccan need 67 off 78 balls now.

6th over: 58 for 0. Johan Botha, comes into the attack and Deccan openers pick up 14 from the over. This is super stuff by Reddy as he hits his fourth ball for four to the long-on fence and then follows it up with a six through the same region. Excellent stuff by Deccan.

5th over: 44 for 0. Tait continues and this is sensational stuff by Dhawan. After giving just four off the five balls, he bowls a short one that Dhawan tries to pull but gets a top edge that clears the boundary over the wicketkeeper's head.

4th over: 34 for 0. This is too easy for Deccan openers at the moment. Watson continues and Akshath Reddy smacks him for a boundary off the first ball through the midwicket. And the duo deals in singles and a two from the remaining over.

3rd over: 26 for 0. Shaun Tait comes into the attack and Dhawan hits him for four off the first ball through the cover region but and the bowler bowls three wides off the remaining over to give nine from the over.

2nd over: 17 for 0. Shane Watson shares the new ball for Rajasthan and some slog shots have taken Deccan off to a solid start. Six runs from the over that includes a boundary through the midwicket.

1st over: 11 for 0. Akshath Reddy and Shikhar Dhawan are at the crease for Deccan. Ajit Chandila opens the attack for Rajasthan and Dhawan smashes him for six over the long-on fence and then follows it with boundary thanks to a slog sweep.

Rajasthan Royals innings:

20th over: 126 for 8. This is a great last over by Veer Pratap Singh as he gives just six from the over and picks up the wicket of Goswami and Parthiv Patel gets a run out of the last ball. Deccan can surely dent Rajasthan hope of qualifying to the playoffs now.

19th over: 120 for 6. Steyn continues and Rajasthan are just not able to find boundaries. Botha perishes trying to hi Steyn for maximum but gets a top edge and Steyn picks up an easy catch off his own bowling. Just six from the over. They surely need a 20-run last over.

18th over: 114 for 5. This is going bad to worse for Rajasthan as Menaria falls trying to give it a Full Monty but only manages to find a fielder at sweeper cover. Meanwhile, Shah finally gets hold of one and hits it for a boundary. Seven from the over.

Menaria c Dhawan b Pratap Singh 20(17)

17th over: 107 for 4. Ashish Reddy is back into the attack and finally a six for Rajasthan. Menaria hits the third ball for towards the deep midwicket boundary and picks a two off the last ball to make it eleven from the over.

16th over: 96 for 4. Dale Steyn is back into the attack and RR are really finding it hard to put a decent total on the board. Fantastic over as he gives just three from it.

15th over: 93 for 4. Mishra continues and Menaria cuts him for four off the third ball but the bowler comes back well and as he gives eight from the over. End of his brilliant spell. He finishes with the figures of 2 for 20 in his four.

14th over: 85 for 4. Gony continues and keeps it tight and nice as he concedes just four from the over. And it's time for strategy break.

13th over: 81 for 4. JP Duminy is back into the attack and restricts batsmen to just eight from the over. Shah and Menaria are in the middle for Rajasthan.

12th over: 73 for 4. Manpreet Gony is back into the attack and picks up Rahul Dravid, who tries to smash it over the cover boundary for a six but finds Lynn in the deep. Rajasthan surely in a deep trouble.

11th over: 69 for 3. Amit Mishra continues and gives eight from the over despite the free-hit off the last ball. Keeps the batsmen down to just ones or twos throughout the over.

10th over: 61 for 3. Ashish Reddy, comes into the attack and gives six from the over that includes a boundary off the third ball by Rahul Dravid thanks to the outside edge that flies to the third man fence.

9th over: 55 for 3. This is simply awesome stuff by Mishra. He bowls a googly to Binny and he is beaten all ends up. This is classic bowling by the legspinner.

8th over: 53 for 2. Pratap Singh continues and after keeping it nice and tight in the first three balls, Stuart Binny hits him for a crisp boundary through long-off from the fourth ball. RR pick up eight from the over.

7th over: 45 for 2. Amit Mishra, comes into the attack and bowls a beauty first up to send back Watson. The batsmen is beaten all ends up as the legspinner hits the timber. Even, Shane Warne would have been proud of that delivery. Just four from the over.

6th over: 41 for 1. Veer Pratap Singh, comes into the attack and Dravid is looking dangerous in the middle. Another ten from the over as Dravid gets two back-to-back boundaries. First one over the cover fielder and second one a lucky inside edge to fine-leg boundary.

5th over: 31 for 1. This is poor stuff by Deccan Chargers on the field. They drop two back-to-back catches. First one Dhawan who puts Shane Watson down and Dravid gets a lifeline off the next ball and also picks four in the process. Meanwhile, Watson smashes the last ball straight down the ground for a huge six.

4th over: 19 for 1. Steyn continues and another and RR pick up six from the over that includes a boundary off to the third-man fence. RR need to get going as they are in a must-win situation.

3rd over: 13 for 1. Manpreet Gony, comes into the attack and bowls a decent line and length but Watson hits him for a four through midwicket to make it five from the over.

2nd over: 8 for 1. Dale Steyn, comes into the attack and bowls a ripper to send back Rahane off the third delivery. Brilliant over as he gives just two of it and picks up an important scalp.

1st over: 6 for 0. JP Duminy opens the attack doe Deccan Chargers. Dravid and Rahane are in the middle for Rajasthan. Rahane is lucky to be still in the crease as Parthiv Patels drop a simple catch but he makes the bowler pay as he hits him for four off the fifth ball.

7:30 pm: Rajasthan Royals skipper Rahul Dravid won the toss and elected to bat against Deccan Chargers in the match number 68 of the Indian Premier League.
