Ranchi: India and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni made his first T20 appearance in front of his home crowd here on Sunday in style, sporting a mohawk in CSK's opening match of the 2013 Champions League Twenty20.
Dhoni, known for his love for the motorbikes and guns, has changed his hairstyle often since making his India debut in henna-coloured hair in 2004 that caught the then Pakistan president Parvez Musharraf's fancy on the tour of Pakistan.
Every time Dhoni - who besides being India's most successful captain is known for his explosive batting - changes his hairdo, it has created a wave. In 2007, after India won the Twenty20 World Cup, Dhoni cropped his hair short like the under-training military men. And after India won the 2011 World Cup, Dhoni surprised everyone by going bald.
Seeing the mohawk on Dhoni's head on Sunday, microblogging website Twitter was abuzz with tweets from the captain's fans. Here are some of those tweets that will tickle your funny bone.
