New Delhi: Karnataka medium pacer R Vinay Kumar was on Tuesday ruled out of the Twenty20 series against England due to a strained right calf muscle, paving the way for state mate Abhimanyu Mithun's return to the Indian squad.
Kumar will be out of action for two weeks, BCCI secretary Sanjay Jagdale said in a statement.
The all-India senior selection committee will meet on Sunday, at the Cricket Centre in Mumbai, to pick the team for the T20 International and ODI series against Pakistan, the statement said.

Vinay Kumar was ruled out of the Twenty20 series against England due to a strained right calf muscle.
