Wellington: Former internationals Sir Richard Hadlee, Martin Snedden and Geoff Allott have been elected to the New Zealand Cricket board of directors that will guide the country's preparations to co-host the 2015 World Cup.
Eight board members were elected at a meeting of New Zealand's major and district cricket associations in Auckland on Thursday.
Snedden is a former NZC chief executive who also headed the organization that ran the 2011 Rugby World Cup.
Allott is a former general manager of cricket for NZC, while Hadlee is a former board member. The others elected include company directors Neil Craig and Liz Dawson and incumbents Stuart Heal, Don Mackinnon and Greg Barclay.
