Cardiff: Rain meant there was no play before lunch on the third day of the first Test between England and Sri Lanka at Sophia Gardens here on Saturday.
The umpires brought forward the lunch interval from 1 p.m. local time (1200 GMT) to 12:30 p.m. in the hope of making an early start to the day's second session.
