Wellington: New Zealand and West Indies will play two Twenty20 internationals in Florida in June-July at the start of New Zealand's full tour of the Caribbean.
The matches will be played at the Central Broward Regional Park Cricket Stadium at Lauderhill, about 50km from Miami on June 30 and July 1. The stadium is the only ICC-approved cricket venue in North America. New Zealand will then head to the West Indies for two Tests and five ODIs in July and August. Dates for the tour were released on Thursday by the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB).
New Zealand Cricket chief executive David White said "we're excited about the potential impact of this (T20) series on the development and growth of cricket in the USA."
