New Delhi: In another twist to the Manish Pandey controversy, the Karnataka batsman could face severe censure from IPL's Governing Council according to sources.
The Board has received several complaints about Pandey's manager trying to strike deals with four IPL teams. Pandey gave his defence to BCCI president Shashank Manohar but he could be banned form IPL4 if the allegations against him are proved.
Earlier Pandey declined the offer of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to play for them in the fourth edition.
The RCB were planning to lodge a complaint with the Governing Council after Pandey, who was the first Indian to score a century in the IPL, reportedly rejected their offer and was negotiating with Sahara Pune Warriors. Pandey was released by the Royal Challengers last year.
